Travel

Everyone who knows me, even a little, knows of my visceral and incredible love for travel. I travel whenever I can, wherever I can: there is no destination too small or obscure for me, and I firmly believe that beauty can be found everywhere. I was fortunate enough to grow up with two parents who traveled a lot and (almost) always brought me with them: I took my first plane long before I turned 1 year old and I have visited incredible places all around the world before turning 18. As an adult, I continue my quest on a daily basis: I travel as much as I can with my husband, but I also travel with friends or alone, depending on the mood and on the destination. I have been to 45 countries around the world so far, and can’t wait to see the rest of them. Follow me, I love to get wonderfully lost!

Imagine a crystal clear sea, blue skies, and patches of colorful flowers hanging from the windows and balconies. Siracusa, Sicily’s fourth biggest city, is all this and much, much more: a true gem overlooking the…

What do you do when you feel down? When I’m discouraged and everything seems difficult and kind of pointless I sit on the couch and I start daydreaming about travel. Thinking about my dream destinations helps me get out of any rut, and makes me want to DO something instead of just wallowing in self-pity. Am I alone in this? So today is sort of a crappy Monday for many reasons, some personal, some not so…
